My name is Eboni Burrowes and I am the Creative founder of Temet Nosce Jewels. My love story began when I was 5,   

I fell in love with jewellery. My Mum and great aunt Clara always owned the most unique and beautiful jewellery. Predominantly big statement pieces that really represented who they were and what they believed in. There was something beautiful and empowering about seeing them using jewellery as a way to enhance their identity and feel more connected to themselves.

 

Undoubtedly this is what ignited my passion for sourcing and creating unique, bespoke jewellery.

 

Like many, I believe that jewellery/gemstones can be a source for internal healing, not just enhancing our outwards identity.

 

I fell in love with gemstones when I learnt about their powers and healing properties. Healing the world has always been my lifelong desire, ‘corny as it sounds’. In 2018 I studied Reiki and learnt how to use the gemstones for aiding health and Chakra alignment. Being given the opportunity to begin that journey and combine it with my passion for jewellery, made it feel almost perfectly serendipitous.

 

Did you know? A gemstone is unique in its formation and so every individual stone has a story to tell. Just as we all have our own nuances, so do these wonderful gems.
